Turasan Kalecik Karasi 2019

Wine has been made in Turkey for thousands of years and still has the 5th largest vineyard area in the world (but most grapes are eaten fresh or made into Raki). Turasan is a modern winery with a French consultant (they get around). Their Kalecik Karasi has a bouquet of raspberry, violet, and apple peel, its dark red-violet in the glass with bright flavors of cherry, cranberry, gala apple, and violet. It's not over-oaked or over ripe. This is a super fun, tasty wine that's sure to be a great conversation piece, as well as a great complement to you autumn dinner.
