Singani 63 Brandy
A group of Spanish missionaries planted the Muscat of Alexandria grape a mile high in the Bolivian Andes. When the grapes matured at a high altitude, their skins thickened, creating a marvelously unique flavor during the distillation process. Bolivians called the spirit Singani and embraced it as a national treasure, but kept it from the rest of the world until, 500 years later-little did Steven Soderbergh know while shooting his historical epic CHE that he would become the star of his OWN historical epic-with SINGANI as the object of his obsession! Think of it: Before that first sip, he didn't know about its magical taste and storied history; he didn't know about the Granier family, pioneers of the Casa Real brand, who brought Singani production into the modern age by perfecting classic distillation techniques at their Tarija facility; and he DEFINITELY didn't know his life was about to get a whole lot drinkier. But once that Singani crossed his lips and found its way into his HEART (aka HIS STOMACH), the idea for Singani 63 was born. Made from the Muscat of Alexandria grape, Singani 63 is unique among spirits to be given both a DO (Designation of Origin) and a GI (Geographical Indication) since the grapes are grown at a minimum altitude of 5,250 feet and within the confines of the historic home of Singani in the Andes. Rested for a minimum of 8 months. 80 proof.
Weather/Vintage
Vintage:On rare occasions, a chosen vintage of a wine may sell out or be replaced by a new release after your order is placed. With bottles of wine listed under $15, we will not hold up an order and will simply automatically substitute the wine with the comparable vintage. Please be assured that we will only substitute with a vintage for the same type, varietal and winery.
Weather:
During extreme weather during the Summer and Winter months we do recommend delaying shipments. We do not like to ship if the weather is above 85 degrees or below 32 degrees. To ensure the safety of your product we do recommend holding the shipment. We will hold in our temperature controlled facility until weather permits.
During Checkout you may Choose the Hold Until Safe and we will ship it once weather conditions are suitable
In this case, we will watch the weather closely and will remove the hold and ship your order as soon as conditions permit. The release dates will vary, and because there is no specified date for delivery, the warehouses will ship it as weather permits. If the Hold Until Safe option is released and your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping notice with the tracking number link.
