Viu Manent Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile)

Ruby-red in color with glints of violet. On the nose the aromas are of ripe fruit, principally red fruit like cherry and red currant accompanied by a subtle hint of black pepper. The palate shows a fruity character with firm, yet resolved tannins, and excellent balance. The finish is intense and fresh with notes of fruit and spice that remain on the palate for a long time. Perfect with a pot roast with potatoes and carrots.

 

North Valley Compass Chardonnay (Oregon)

This 100% Chardonnay offers aromas of golden apple and honey dew. On the palate, it shows primary flavors of bosc pear and granny smith apple, as well as secondary flavors of oyster shell and lemon peel. The finish is racy, bright and lingering. Pair with decadent Dungeness Crab Mac and Cheese. Beautiful with roast chicken and wild mushrooms. Yes, please.

 

Cycles Gladiator Pinot Noir (California)

Aromas of cherry, earth, and tobacco with a dryish medium body leading to inviting cherry, smokey, peppery finish with firm tannins. A smoky, tannic Pinot to pair with bigger dishes such as stuffed portobellos, baked ham or even meatloaf.

 

Famega Vinho Verde Rose (Portugal)

Dry and ultra-refreshing, this sibling of the top selling Famega Vinho Verde has similar appeal and drinkability, with the subtle fizz traditional to this zone of Portugal.  Strawberries, pie cherry and tangerine notes on a crisp, lite finish.  Beautiful with grilled fish, chicken salad or tapas-style apps on the patio.

 

Protocolo Bianco (Spain)

Composed of 60% Macabeo, 40% Airén, this bright, crisp, pristine Spanish white displays sliced apples, white pears, salted lemons and dried herbs on the nose. Medium-bodied but blessed with a fresh acidity that keeps it both light enough on its feet to sip on its own or as a versatile partner to all kinds of spicy, Asian fare. Botter La Vigna Chianti (Italy)

This is an impressive tasting Chianti with intense aromas of cherry and raspberry with hints of exotic spices and white pepper. Spiced red cherry liquorice and great acidity are added on the palate. Excellent with cold meats, cheeses, first courses, white and light meats.

 

Rare Platinum Merlot (California)

This full-bodied wine is very plump and concentrated, while staying in texture. Lush blackberry, cherry and black plum fruits are accented by cedar and clove, while a hint of tannin intrigues.  This would be delicious paired with caramelized roasted veggies or chicken pot pie.

 

Baron de Funes Garnacha/Syrah (Spain)

A youthful bottling from the Cariñena DO in Aragon, home to the oldest Garnacha vines in Spain. This Garnacha/Syrah blend leads with aromas of ripe red fruits, blackberries, and violets. Ripe berries and fresh black fruit flavors are accompanied by notes of mocha and cacao. The rich palate and juicy mouthfeel lend a silky smooth finish that make this wine a wonderful companion to BBQ meats, grilled lamb, Mediterranean spiced dishes and hard white cheeses.

 

Little Long Dog Rouge (France)

A delicious, fruit-driven, medium-bodied red, brimming with blackberry flavors, but with an underpinning of structure and weight. It’s a great shoulder season wine, equally adept all on its own or with hearty, meat-based pasta dishes.

 

Sun Goddess Sauvingon Blanc (Italy)

This intensely aromatic wine from Fruili, IT starts with a tropical and spicy nose of passion fruit and melon with structured and balanced palate of intense acidity, velvety smoothness and a long finish.   It will pair perfectly with fish and shellfish, hors d’oeuvres or simply as a refreshing sip!

 

Les Allies Brut (France)

Fruity and delicate with nice yellow fruits aromas transported by a fine and persistent foam. Fresh and lively, this fun sparkler from Burgundy is well-balanced, fresh, and fruity on the palate with a round, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is long with fruity and floral notes. Perfect as a welcome sipper or with light apps such as caprese skewers or salmon mousse puffs.

 

Lago Duoro Red (Portugal)

Capturing the freshness of Portugal combined with the aromatic spirit of local grape varieties Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional.  Plums, strawberries and black berries with light nuances of cedar box, tobacco and cocoa powder. Full-bodied on the mouth with soft and engaging tannins, this is tasty on its own or try with Beef Teriyaki, or with Blue Cheese.

Weather/Vintage

Vintage:
On rare occasions, a chosen vintage of a wine may sell out or be replaced by a new release after your order is placed. With bottles of wine listed under $15, we will not hold up an order and will simply automatically substitute the wine with the comparable vintage. Please be assured that we will only substitute with a vintage for the same type, varietal and winery.

Weather:
During extreme weather during the Summer and Winter months we do recommend delaying shipments. We do not like to ship if the weather is above 85 degrees or below 32 degrees. To ensure the safety of your product we do recommend holding the shipment. We will hold in our temperature controlled facility until weather permits.

During Checkout you may Choose the Hold Until Safe and we will ship it once weather conditions are suitable
In this case, we will watch the weather closely and will remove the hold and ship your order as soon as conditions permit. The release dates will vary, and because there is no specified date for delivery, the warehouses will ship it as weather permits. If the Hold Until Safe option is released and your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping notice with the tracking number link.
