Pradeaux Bandol Rouge 2017

A beautifully old-school Bandol Rouge made from 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Grenache by one of the region's most-revered producers. Built to last, Pradeaux's grapes are not de-stemmed and aging happens in very old oak foudres, to help create the signature flavors of cured meat, tar, slate, tobacco leaf, garrigue, and lavender. Tannins are grippy, yet fine like brushed suede. Bring on the grilled sausages, wild boar or other game meat, lamb, or roast beef. Nothing beats a classic like this!
