From the Brunier family, owners of one of Kermit Lynch's early estates, Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf du Pape. The name "Le Pigeoulet" is derived from the foothills of the Chateauneuf's La Crau plateau, where Vieux Telegraphe's vineyards sit. It's a bold, red fruited, boisterous blend of 55% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Carignan, 8% Cinsault and 7% Mourvedre aged in concrete and old, large, wood casks. Blackberries, fresh herbs, licorice root and more burst from the glass and make this easy drinking gem a terrific cookout and all-purpose red.
