Allimant-Laugner Pinot Noir 2018
2199
The domaine came together in 1965 when the Allimant and Laugner families were joined by marriage. Each of these families enjoys a rich history of winemaking in Alsace, tracing their viticulture roots back to the 16th and 17th centuries. A subtle note of ripe, red cherry plays on the nose, along with the merest hint of conifer that becomes more vivid on the palate. The body is slender, light and unforced. This is a very honest, easy and traditional Pinot, made with an admirably light touch.
