We always want to be transparent on how we do business.  Please know that our site is virtual that means that not all wine is in the store at the time the order is placed.   We do order wine twice a week on Mondays and on Thursdays.  

You can expect that your order will be completed/shipped on Tuesdays and Fridays since those are our deliver days and the days that we work on orders.

If an order is placed after 1pm Monday you can expect that your order will be delayed until Friday.

If your order is placed after 1pm on Thursday you can expect that your order will be delayed until the following Tuesday. 

We do our best to communicate as much as possible if there are any further delays but feel free always to contact us at sales@madwine.com.

Madwine does not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 21. By using and purchasing on MadWine.com you are affirming that you and the person receiving the shipment are over the age of 21. All orders will require proper identification upon delivery and all shipments will be clearly labeled to indicate that the package can’t be delivered to anyone under the age of 21.

MadWine offers free local delivery in the greater Seattle area for orders over $250.00. Please select free local delivery at the shipping option during check out.

MadWine offers local pick up for those orders in Washington State. Please select local pick-up as the shipping option during check out. You will receive an email once the order is ready to be picked up.

MadWine uses FedEx, UPS and GLS/GSO for shipping all packages. Unless otherwise specified, MadWine ships all orders Ground which takes up to 5-7 business days depending on your location. If you need an order delivered by a specific time, please let us know in the Customer Comment section of your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

During the winter and summer months extreme weather conditions can result in shipping delays. In order to avoid damaging (spoiling) your wines we recommend expediting shipping. MadWine will hold shipments during these times unless otherwise specified by the customer. Orders once completed will be charged even if wine is being held due to extreme weather conditions.

To make delivery easier, make sure that that there is an adult available to sign for your package. If you can ship to a business address it can avoid any delays. If you do choose to ship to a residence, an attempt will be made 3 times  before being returned back to the store. You can contact the local carrier to set up a time for delivery or set up a pick up at a local station.  If a package is returned to the store a refund can be issued minus the shiping fee and if it needs to be reshipped then a second shipping fee may be charged.
