Inviting bouquet of red cherries, white flowers and spices. Expressive toasted notes with honey give way to long lasting notes of black fruits. The tannins are silky and well balanced. The finish is beautiful and full. Great with poached eggs in red wine sauce ("oeufs meurette") well-matured cheese, grilled lamb and grilled sardines.
